Programme

With respect to the mission, guidelines and objectives, the Committee will focus on activities aimed at stimulating, addressing, coordinating, regulating and controlling the effectiveness of the initiative and the actions of each single member. These actions will be fully supported by forming strong relationships with institutional actors.

The committee will also be involved in promoting the autonomous projects that will play a key role in determining a strong impact on the artistic, cultural, economic and social fibre at national and international levels.

EXIBITION

During the three-year celebration, exhibitions will be organised using multimedia technology to publicly display extraordinary pieces from the Ricordi Archives. At the end they will fully describe the particular details of Casa Ricordi’s history and national culture, from both a musical and artistic point of view as well as from a commercial and entrepreneurial point of view.

MUSICAL EVENTS

The exhibitions will be accompanied by a number of shows realised in collaboration with the most important musical institutions and the most famous opera theatres. Thus, music will be the fundamental basis of the bicentennial celebrations and will satisfy all classical and light music fans.

MULTIMEDIA PUBLISHING

To offer support to events, an special on-line publication will be created relative to the events to mark the celebrations of the next three years. Books, catalogues, cds and cd-roms will be printed, allowing the public to get closer to the rich Ricordi world thanks to the use of up-to-date and modern media.
