In the year 2008 Ricordi, world-renowned publisher of classical music, is celebrating its 200th anniversary.
On this occasion Archivio Ricordi and Comitato Nazioanle Ricordi present “That’s Opera”, a travelling exhibition featuring the fascinating world of Italian opera. Archivio Ricordi houses the most outstanding treasures of two centuries of Italian opera history. For the first time, the greatest worldwide music collection opens its treasures to give the visitors a behind-the-scenes look at 200 years of Opera productions. A selection of over 300 original exhibits, handwritten scores, letters, photographs and watercolours that have never seen abroad, will now leave the country for the first time ever.
